Michaela has over 15 years’ experience in learning and development for global organisations like Rio Tinto and AWS, she emphasises the importance of developing human skills with the same rigor as technical and digital skills. Advocating for more empathy, effective communication, and feedback in the workplace. Passionate about accessible learning, Michaela founded Opportunity Global and is launching a new tech venture in the US. She aims to empower individuals and organisations to realise their full potential. As a TEDx organiser, Michaela champions "thinking globally, act locally," creating platforms for ideas and connection. Her mission is to expand inclusive, accessible events in the region. Michaela loves MFE for its commitment to launching major events in Teesside. She lives in Teesside, with her family, Great Dane, and pygmy goats.
